Updates to Speech Recognition System

UPDATES TO SPEECH RECOGNITION DIRECTORY SYSTEM

Effective September 8, 2003, our automated Speech Recognition Directory answering service will begin using information extracted from the AIS system instead of the old PPIS system. The information in the speech recognition system will continue to be updated every weekend, but will obtain the information from AIS instead of PPIS.

What does this mean? If information currently in the speech recognition system is inaccurate, please notify the correct campus department of the accurate information.
