You have to sign
up for this service through Telecommunications Services
at a cost of $4/month for it to work.

Make sure you are
using Microsoft
Exchange/Outlook, Lotus Notes or Novell
GroupWare as your e-mail client. Make one of these
your default e-mail client.

Uninstall
all previous version of Desktop Messaging client by going to the
"Control Panel" and close the default
e-mail client on your desktop before installing.

Download the
Desktop Messaging
Installer.

You can choose to run
it or save it to a folder on your computer. If you chose to save it to
a folder, locate the self-extractable file(CPDM5004167.exe) and double click
on it. Make sure you have administrator privilege to your computer
before attempting to install the client.

Click "Yes"
where it says "This is a self-extracting zip file for the SIUC Callpilot
Voice Mail Desktop Messaging client installer. Make sure you uninstall
any previous version by going to the "Control Panel" to remove it first. Do you want to Continue?".

Click "Setup" on
WinZip Self-Extractor - CPDM5004167.exe.

Click "Next" on the
"Welcome to the Installshield Wizard for Nortel Callpilot Desktop Messaging".

On the
"CallPilot Server Information" window, leave everything as default and
click "Next".

Check
"Complete" as the Setup Type and click "Next".

Click "Install" to begin the installation.
If you are using Thunderbird and not using Microsoft Outlook as your
default mail client, you may see a message about Microsoft Outlook. Go
ahead and click "Ok", complete step 12 and 13 then follow the
instructions on the configuration for
Netscape or Thunderbird mail client.

Click "Finish"
on InstallShield Wizard Completed.

If your default mail client is Microsoft Outlook, click
"Start", "All Programs", "Nortel", "CallPilot Desktop Messaging", and
then select "Add CallPilot to Default Mail Profile".

After you have
successfully installed Desktop Messaging, bring up you e-mail client and
you will be prompted to enter your 7 digits Phone Number and your voice mail password.
Your voice mail password by default it is 618 plus your 7 digits
phone number unless you have change it.

Once you have logged
in, you will see a Callpilot Messaging Store under your e-mail client
folder list. Under that folder you will see an Inbox, Outbox, Deleted
Items and a Sent Items. Your in coming voice mail will be stored in the
Inbox.
